Well, a variety of welders help you easily complete repair jobs on a bunch of metal products and equipment around the home, farm and business. 115 V welders will help you repair up to 3/16” thickness of metal. 230V welders will get the job done on materials up to 3/8” thickness. The Campbell Hausfeld welders we featured are: 1) Arc Welder: This is commonly referred to as a stick welder because of the stick that is used to spark, melt and create the weld that binds broken metal together. It comes in a sturdy metal case and is perfect for repairing tools and equipment. It welds up to 1/8” thick steel in a single pass. The welder includes an informative guide to welder usage and range of material. Infinite amperage control allows for a larger range of materials to be welded. Just plug it in, put the stick in the holder, put the clamp onto the material you’re welding to complete the circuit, and you’re ready to spark and roll!! This tool is perfect for mending broken tools (i.e. broken metal on a garden rake or any application you can imagine) 2) The second welder we featured was the Campbell Hausfeld continuous feed welder. The difference is that with a wire feed you might be able to work a little faster since you have a spool of wire flux to make the weld. With more material as opposed to a stick welder, you don’t have to stop as often. This easy to weld system with electronic wire speed control requires no gas or regulator to weld. It runson 115 V input power. It welds up to 3/16” steel in one pass. The convenient top load system accepts 4” or 8” wire spools that feed through a hand wand to provide constant supply of welding material. And the speed control provides added benefits, because the setting allows you to be able to weld at your project’s intended speed. For example, if you’re welding a thin piece of metal you want to feed out the flux wire more slowly because you don’t want to burn through the material. If you’ve got a thicker metal you want more material to get the job done faster.
