@HistoryUnwound4 years agoI think its less about anakin using the dark side during the test as much as it is using light and dark equally. 50
@
@jeffmiller60254 years agoThe son is not the embodiment of the darkside. The text (in the second or third episode of the arc) is clear about this: the father points out that thefallento the darkside. The daughter comments that its in his nature. And the father rejects this. the mortis arc does a lot of weird subtle things. And one of those is to point out that natural, dynamic darkness and the darkside are not the same thing. Do with that what you will, but the text is weirdly clear about it, if subtle. ...Expand43

@Jedi_Spartan_384 years agoIn both TCW and Legends, Anakin got massively screwed over by the Clone Wars happening when they did, in TCW he got immediately promoted (which he presumably loved since there are notes by him in The Jedi Path saying he wanted to skip the Jedi Trials) and in Legends he only got promoted 6 months before Episode 3 and there are multiple places where he's put through hell (eg: everything from Jabiim to finding Obi Wan and Alpha) and also other places where he believes that he's ready for the trials and more responsibility in the Clone Wars as early as the Muunilinst episodes of the Clone Wars micro series. .....Expand18

@MCLegoboy4 years agoI may be in the minority, but i am not much of a fan of the mortis arc. Overlords is the only episode i really like of the three because the next two just i honestly don' t get why so many people love the mortis arc outside of the big bad force wielders and the uses of the force that we see in it, but as far as the plot goes, i mean, i just don' t know about it. I love the son, i like the concept of dark ahsoka, i really actually like most of overlords as a whole with everyone' s visions and anakin making the taco girl choice, it is a great singular episode, and i kind of wish it stayed that way because from there we start acquiring daggers and killing everyone so that there is balance, but also not really and it' s just. It' s too far out there, i don' t get it, and sometimes the episodes just drag. I' m sure it all makes sense in george' s head, but whatever it is, it cannot be manifested outside of his brain. ...Expand2
