From VCU InSight, the award-winning news show produced by undergraduate broadcast journalism students in the Robertson School of Media and Culture at Virginia Commonwealth University. Aired on February 15, 2019, on WCVW-TV Richmond PBS, a Community Idea station. InSight has won several "Best All-Around Television Newscast" awards in the collegiate Mark of Excellence competition by the Society of Professional Journalists for Region 2 (the mid-Atlantic), including being a finalist for 2016, first place for 2015, 2012 and 2010, and third place for 2011.
