A baked flatbread recipe with delicious meat and cheese fillings. Very healthy and wholesome. Serves as a great dinner delicacy or a snack. Perfect recipe for your kids' school lunchbox. Watch the full video to make this tasty flatbread recipe with a thin crust topped with delicious fillings. *For the dough*: Maida- 3 cups Egg- 1 Milk- 200 ml Oil- 100 ml Water- 50 ml (if needed) Salt- 2 tsp Dry yeast- 1 tbsp *For the meat filling*: Mutton keema- 1/2 kg Capsicum (any colour)- 1 (chopped) Onion (medium)- 3 (chopped) Tomato- 2 (chopped) Coriander- 2 tbsp Tomato puree- 3 to 4 tbsp Garlic (minced)- 4 cloves Salt as per taste Paprika- 1 tbsp Chilli flakes- 1 tbsp Black pepper- 1 tbsp White sesame seeds *For cheese filling*: Mozarella Cheese Cheese triangle Garlic 3 cloves Olive oil- 2 tbsp Black seeds (kalonji) Egg wash: Egg yolk- 1 Milk- 1 tbsp Method- 1. In a mixing bowl, add milk, yeast, oil, egg and whisk it well. Then add in the maida and salt. Knead the dough well until it becomes soft. Add water if needed. Cover and let the dough rest for 90 mins. 2. For the meat filling, add olive oil to a pan and cook the meat until it turns brown. Switch off the flame and transfer the meat to a bowl. 3. To the cooked meat, add the spices, onion, Capsicum, tomato, tomato puree, salt and coriander leaves. Mix the filling well. 4. After 90 mins, portion the dough into small balls. Roll out a dough ball lengthwise. Add the meat filling. Fold the dough along the edges and then apply egg wash along the sides. Sprinkle the sides with white sesame seeds. 5. For the cheese pide- add minced garlic to olive oil. Apply the garlic oil to the rolled out dough. Place a cheese traingle at the center. Add mozarella cheese as well. Fold the edges of the dough. Apply egg wash and sprinkle with black sesame seeds. 6. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil. Brush it with olive oil. Bake the pide at 200°C for 15-20 mins. 7. Serve the pide hot and enjoy!
