It takes place in reno, nv " the biggest little town in the world" in the 20' s. It' s about a police unit trying to get through another day without getting into serious trouble and having a little fun with its day to day chores. Which is a daunting task considering a poor quality of personnel the council of a run-down city can hire. The creator of the film is thomas lennon, an american actor, screenwriter and producer, who also plays lieutenant dangle in it. I recommend the series to comedy connoisseurs.
