I was pretty stressed but watching these little birds grow really helped me relax and I managed my finals and graduated. Now I've been watching them daily and caught them as they left the nest. Thanks so much little buddies, and I wish you all a safe journey and your own beautiful little nests one day! And great props to Pip and Mimi, I'm truly impressed by their excellent parenting. ... 73

@jojoba113 years ago It was so fascinating to watch because the 2nd bird to leave was one that was huddled in the farthest corner, with other 2 chicks. It looked like it didn't want to leave anytime soon but suddenly it just jumped out of there and was off! And the 5th one clearly felt very unsatisfied with the food is parents gave him then and just followed them outside to where the food is :) ... 8

And then, all of a sudden, they entered the "engine checking" mode and the first one took off. It was wonderful! I couldn’t stop the tears… I’ll miss these little family as they’ve kept me company all day for these past few weeks. ... 14
