Ingredients:
1. Soaked split black gram ( Urad dal / Biri ) - 2 cups
2. Semolina or Sooji - 3/4 cup
3. Chopped onion - 1 ( Medium)
4. Chopped green chili - 2 or add as required
5. Chopped fresh curry leaves - 2 stems
6. Salt to taste
7. Water for making the urad dal batter
8. Oil to fry bara or vada
