Pizza Dough Ingredients 3 1/2 to 4 cups bread flour 1 teaspoon sugar 1 envelope instant dry yeast 2 teaspoons kosher salt 1 1/2 cups water, 110 degrees F 2 tablespoons olive oil, plus 2 teaspoons 1. Combine the bread flour, sugar, yeast and kosher salt in the bowl of a stand mixer and combine. While the mixer is running, add the water and 2 tablespoons of the oil and beat until the dough forms into a ball. 2. Grease a large bowl with the remaining 2 teaspoons olive oil, add the dough, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and put it in a warm area to let it double in size, about 1 hour. Cover each with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap and let them rest for 10 minutes. The Best Pizza Dough Recipe This is the easiest, best pizza dough recipe. Combine 1 cup (125g) of flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. If desired, add garlic powder and dried basil at this point as well. 2. Add olive oil and warm water and use a wooden spoon to stir well very well. 3. Gradually add another 1 cup (125g) of flour. Add any additional flour as needed (I've found that sometimes I need as much as an additional 1/3 cup), stirring until the dough is forming into a cohesive, elastic ball and is beginning to pull away from the sides of the bowl. The dough will still be slightly sticky but still should be manageable with your hands. 4. Drizzle a separate, large, clean bowl generously with olive oil and use a pastry brush to brush up the sides of the bowl. 5. Lightly dust your hands with flour and form your pizza dough into a round ball and transfer to your olive oil-brushed bowl. Use your hands to roll the pizza dough along the inside of the bowl until it is coated in olive oil, then cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and place it in a warm place. 6. Allow dough to rise for 30 minutes or until doubled in size. EASY HOMEMADE PIZZA DOUGH This Easy Homemade Pizza Dough recipe yields the best ever homemade pizza in 30 minutes FLAT! Homemade Pizza Dough INGREDIENTS • 1 cup (250 ml) warm water • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) instant yeast • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) sugar • 2 cups (300 g) all-purpose flour • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt PREPARATION 1. In a bowl, combine the water, yeast and sugar. Let stand until the mixture foams on top, about 5 minutes. 2. In a food processor, it is important to work with the plastic blade or the dough hook. Combine the flour and salt. Increase the speed to medium and add the yeast mixture until a soft ball forms. 3. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead for a few minutes on a floured surface to prevent sticking. 4. Place in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a clean cloth. Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes in warm and draft-free area. 5. Use the pizza dough immediately or refrigerate it
