Surendrnagar is located in gujrat .. surendrnagar is dry place and very hot in summer but people like to eat spicy dishes in all season ..In winter green gram is easily available in market so we can make this recipe.This dish have some preparations . so watch this video and make this dish ..it is very delicious and tasty dish of zalavad specially surendrnagar..it is spicy and tasty so without missing any ingredient make it and give feed back in comment box...Thank you...🙏 Ingredients 2 kg green gram/leela chana 750 gram chopped onion 500 gram chopped tomatoes 100 gram paste of ginger 100 gram green spicy chilly 100 gram paste of dry garlic 50 gram paste of green garlic In garam masala: 2/3 star phool 8/10 cloves 10 /15 black peper for temporing : 400 gram peanut oil 2 Tbsp asphoetida 1 Tbsp turmeric 2 Tbsp coriander powder 4 Tbsp red chilly powder salt to taste 1 litre amul buttermilk Method First take chana ,remove skin, and wash out properly ...Then boil 2 kg chana/green gram in boiling water ..not in pressure cooker ..we boil it without cover lid .because its sweetness remains and colour remains green ..it takes 30 mnts to boil. mean while chopped all vegetables ..and prepare some paste .too.after boiling chana crush it not make fine paste Then for temppring heat oil,add asphoetoda,garam masala ,onion,ginger,garlic,chilly and tomatoes turn by turn .....then add dry masala like turmeric,coriander powder and red chilly powder,add salt too.stir well for mnts and add crushed boiled chana ..stir well and boil for mnts then add 1 litre butter milk cook it for mnts and garnish with coriander our sabji is ready ..This sabji is served with bajri (millet) rotla ,butter,jaggery,fried chilly,papad,and buttermilk ....
