Skyward Sword was trademarked last year iirc, Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass were trademarked recently. These two games are associated.

@Starcat53 years ago It occurs to me that I never did collect every heart in TP. Meaning that my Wolf Link is still a Three Heartpiece Wonder. (My plan was to collect all the hearts, THEN doing the first section of the dungeon, thus safely banking the full number of hearts.) I am torn between finishing that save file, or waiting for the Switch release. ...ah, who am I kidding. I have so many things going on, both in gaming and iRL, that I doubt that I'd touch the Wii U port before the Switch port released anyway. ... 1

@hyrulefanlink8133 years ago Think about it. You can change your profile picture on Switch to characters from the games you can play on the Switch. Just like with Animal Crossing you could have that as your picture when the Switch came out and now Animal Crossing is on the Switch. Same with other Wii U games that were ported. You can set Toon Link, Toon Zelda, Toon Gannondorf, Twilight Princess Link, Twilight Princess Zelda, and Twilight Princess Gannondorf as your picture. I think this is proof enoughthat they are coming. That’s how it worked out with the other profile pictures and the games they were form. ... 1

@TheLetterbomber3 years ago This seems extremely likely, yet I'm not at all surprised they didn't bring it up in the Direct the other day. Mario 3D All-Stars was announced and released towards the latter end of 2020, so if they're treating Zelda at all similarly, then the Direct we just had (geared around the next six months of Nintendo releases) makes the most sense. It also wouldn't drive sales for a new Skyward Sword remaster very well if they also said "and here are two more Zelda games that probably all of you think you want more" (I love SS but it's the least well-known or loved 3D Zelda at this point). I think they're making the perfect move with this. ...

@darylrestly81333 years ago I think there will be a collection of three to four LOZ games later this year. If you look at Super Mario 3D All-Stars, they included one N64 game (Super Mario 64), one GameCube game (Super Mario Sunshine) and one Wii title (Super Mario Galaxy). A potential LOZ collection could include one N64 title (Ocarina Of Time with Master Quest or Majora's Mask), one GameCube title (The Wind Waker) and one Wii title (Twilight Princess). At some point I think Nintendo will do an HD port of Super Mario Galaxy 2 but I think Nintendo deliberately held off on including SMG 2 from Super Mario 3D All-Stars because they felt they could sell an HD port of it at a later date. Basically what Nintendo is doing with the Legend of Zelda 35th Anniversary is backwards compared to how they approached the 35th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros., whereas for the 35th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros., we got a 3D All-Stars collection first and at some point we will get an HD port of Super Mario Galaxy 2. With the 35th anniversary of LOZ, we are getting an HD port of Skyward Sword first and at some point we are going to get the equivalent of a Legend of Zelda 3D All-Stars. ...

@dioscelto3 years ago My Wii U Gamepad barely functions anymore and loses connection after about two minutes of play, and needs very specific conditions to stay alive and connected, making both games a chore to play, which sucks because Twilight Princess is my favourite game ever made, and Wind Waker is my second favourite Zelda game, it’d be far too expensive and a not very worth it solution to fix it, and I was hoping they’d be announced yesterday. When they weren’t, my belief that I would get to play them again in a way that’s enjoyable got crushed. And I’m not typically one for rumours, but this brings me so much hope! ...

@Hello-mx2yc3 years ago They are probably going to be announced around E3? Aonuma said on the direct that they hope to share some info on BoTW sequel later this year. So that leaves me to believe, are they going to do something like what Platinumgames did in the Game Awards? They first revealed that Bayonetta 2 + Bayonetta were coming to Switch and then they revealed Bayonetta 3. Maybe the Zelda team will arrive at E3 (or whatever way E3 is going to be managed this year) and just say: "Hey everyone! Here you have WW and TP HD. Oh, and here you have some BoTW sequel info too. Hope you like it!" ...

@NJLGamer3 years ago I understand all 3 not being in a single collection $60 collection I was kind of hoping we would get Wind Waker and twilight princess $60 bundle and then a series of wii ports for like $30 each (even though they were only $20 on wii u) with a few major wii games a year Starting with Skyward Sword, and galaxy 1 and 2, followed by Mario kart wii and wii sports/ wii sports resort next year ...

@WllKiedSnake3 years ago All they got to do is make Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD 60fps, improve shadows, add ambient occlusion and use 16x Anistropic Filtering and that'll be a great improvement if they come to Switch.

@WllKiedSnake3 years ago Skyward Swords world progress design is very similar to Metroids. You even have to come back to areas with new items to progress like you do in Metroid. I really like Skyward Sword even its motion controls.
