Bribing police? How are you learning Spanish? Do you feel safe there? Best meals? ~ I get a lot of questions about living in Mexico, like why I choose Mexico City, safety, food, etc, so I decided to make a video about it. I know I didn't touch everything, so please feel free to leave a comment and I'll try to answer as many as I can. :) I really miss making more ramble type videos on my main channel - I usually save them for my Patreon - so please let me know if you'd like to see more personal/vlog/story-time type videos! @faroverthemistymountains3 years ago hey that's me at thanks for answering my question! also i am officially chan ging my last name pronunciation because you made it sound a lot more fun
it's really interesting what you said about how you deal with missing your friends and family, i think it really is a personal thing and it can change depending on the person. I'm really introverted too and mostly talk to my friends online anyway, but in my case, because i still live with my parents and it's not very common for people to move away during college here, it would be weird. like, i'm getting married this year and moving out, but still want to live close to them. it's hard, my boyfriend goes through the same thing, even though we both would like to maybe live in another country.
and about the language barrier, it totally makes sense! Thanks for the tips too. I have really funny stories from when I went to Buenos Aires in 2019 involving wrong spelling and pronunciation
portuguese and spanish are similar languages when it comes to syntactic functions in grammar and construction of phrases, but there are a lot of different meanings for similar words, oh boy

@susi1313 years ago I totally get the understanding vs speaking problem. I' ve been studying spanish on and off for 15 years now and i can understand it fairly well. I' m i feel like it was so different with english. But maybe also because i was learning english in school so my teachers obviously forced me to actually speak from the beginning. I have been taking some spanish classes as well over the years but most of the spanish i know comes from using apps and just watching spanish tv shows or listening to podcasts in spanish.
maybe it is finally time for me to move to spain for a while so i am forced to speak spanish

@XXXTENTAClON2273 years ago Thank you for this. Its hard to understand mexico as a european (besides spain obviously lol) all you ever see is problems, especially cartels, so i id="hidden36"ts always seen as scary in europe (once again, unless your spain lmao) but i was always convinced that it wasnt like that, and i made sure to always look past the news. This helps me understand it even more, a country ive always been fascinated in, as it portrayed the border of england and spain (canada and the usa being english in the past) and i love seeing the differences and cultural inheritance. Im fascinated by history for some reason. Your videos are amazing!. ...Expand 3
