WHAT IS SCHEZWAN SAUCE A popular indo chinese cuisine sauce prepared from red chilies and szechuan peppers which is typically used for indo chinese cuisine or as dip. the sauce usually has very strong flavour with high pungency and spiciness from generous use of garlic and chili peppers. INGREDIENTS 3 medium size tomato 2 medium size onion 15 dry red chili 2 tbsp ginger 2 tbsp garlic 2 tbsp tomato ketchup 1 tbsp vinegar salt to taste METHOD take a pan and boil 1 cup water in it . then add tomatoes and red chilies in it . now take a pan and add sesame oil in it , let the oil heat add ginger and garlic in it , saute them for 2 minutes. now add 2 fine chop onion in it and saute them too until the golden brown . in the meantime cool-down the paste and puree it . when the onion turns to golden brown then add that paste to onions and stir . time for seasoning add salt and sugar to your sauce and stir . at last add vinegar and cook for 2 mins . your sauce is ready , let it cool at room temperature .
