We're Hiring J.D. Irving, Limited Jobs Forecast 2019-2021

For our 2019-2021 hiring forecast, we are excited to announce that we will be hiring 7,500 full time positions and over 2,500 students from across all of the company’s diverse operations in Canada and in the U.S. Over 700 of these full time positions will be in the skilled trades. And when we look at our forecast, 89% of all of our full time positions that we are hiring for are right here in the Atlantic provinces. Our hiring strategy is really about keeping people at home, bringing them home, and making it home. The commion demoniator is home. Our job forecast is based on normal attrition, retirements, students, and planned business growth that spans across the JDI group of companies. The exciting aspect to this large number of hiring, is the variety of jobs required like engineering, shipping, supply and logistics, operations, retail sales, and finance.
